Wine Movie Academy Awards Announced!!

Without any further delay, here are the nominees:

Concussion: a Nigerian-born doctor moves to Lodi, drinks two bottles of Uvaggio Lodi Vermentino Passito

Max Mad: the Furry Road: Max Gigandet gets mad at Julie Guffy, decides to dress up like a squirrel on winery visits…the winemakers feed him acorns. Max plants the trees. His grandson makes the barrels and sells them back to the customers.

Joy: Mark Aubert opens up his copy of the latest Wine Advocate.

Aromalisa: Winemaker tries to link his old Apple computer to a gas chromatography machine.

Revenant: French barrel salesmen you-thought- were -dead show up at your winery.

Straight Outa  St-Romain: Jean Francois shows his toughness by eschewing e-mail.

The Danish Barrel: a used red wine barrel turns itself into a white wine barrel.

Ride Along IV:  Julie and Max both dress up as squirrels, pile into Jean Francois’ Mini Cooper and visit Romanee-Conti.   Hijinks ensue when Julie knocks over a Methuseleh of ’45 La Tache with her tail.
